These maple infused goat breakfast sausages add a little something different to your brunch.

Makes 1 lb. of breakfast sausage.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. ground goat
  • 1/4 lb. ground pork, bacon ends or ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp coriander 
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper
  • 1.5 tbs pure maple syrup 
  • 2 tbs cold water

Directions

  1. Mix ground meat together, set aside
  2. In a separate now, mix dried ingredients together 
  3. Mix ground meat with water and maple syrup together 
  4. Then mix meat with seasoning 
  5. Form into patties.
  6. Cook in frying pan, browning on both sides.
