Shipping rates are available to the lower 48 states. Hawaii and Alaska customers can contact us by email for a shipping quote.

Shipping Schedule

Since we are a small family farm, we ship on an every-other-week schedule to serve you on a frequent basis, yet allow us to efficiently balance our time between the farming and food sides of our business.

Our shipping rates for our frozen meat and perishables are flat rates based on your delivery location.

Zone 1: $20 or complimentary with a $125 or more order

Zone 2: $20

Zone 3: $40

Zone 4: $50

How will my order be delivered?

All orders are shipped by UPS for an anticipated two-day delivery timeframe at the point of shipment. For example, an order shipped on Tuesday, would be delivered by Thursday.

Depending on your location, your order will be shipped by UPS ground or by UPS Two-Day.

Email notification with a tracking number will go out when the order has been shipped.

When will my order be shipped?

We ship orders on the second and fourth Monday/Tuesday of the month. Dates are shown in the online ordering system. Shipments go out on Mondays or Tuesdays to ensure your order isn’t delayed over the weekend. In November and December, we ship one time a month.

How should I expect my order to arrive?

Your order is then shipped for delivery within a 1- to 2-day timeframe via UPS. Based on your location shipping may be ground or two-day air.

This will ensure your order stays chilled during shipment. Please unpack your box as soon as you receive it. Any freshly thawed items can either be refrigerated or refroze for later use. It is normal to have some thawing.

What are shipping costs?

Shipping varies depending on your location. Fees are calculated at checkout and are based on shipping zones from our farm location (see map above). Shipping rates are FLAT RATES.

Why are shipping costs so expensive?

Several factors go into our shipping costs to make sure your goat meat stays chilled throughout the shipment and when it arrives at your doorstep.

Orders are carefully packed in high-quality shipping materials, with high insulation values, to help keep your meat cold. Each order will also ship with a frozen gel pack or dry ice depending on your destination.

Additionally, we are shipping orders to arrive within a 1- to 2-day arrival based on your location from our farm. In some instances, two-day air rates are necessary to make sure your order arrives in a timely manner and chilled.

Can I recycle my packaging?

Yes! We have a box/liner return program for us to recycle and reuse with future orders. Inside your box you’ll find a return shipping label. Please send the box with liner and a book, magazine or DVD donation. The donation will go to our local library and also allows us to utilize the USPS’s media mail rate. [Fun fact: we are the smallest town in the state with a public library!]

If you return your box and liner, we will add a $10 credit to your account for a future purchase.

You can keep the ice pack if the order came with one. They work great for lunches and such. Unfortunately, our shipping pouches are not included in this program.
